White Water Based Self Sealer 1K/2K Topcoat

Novalk 921 white is the quick, straightforward white in the water-based line: self-sealing, so sound previously finished surfaces need only a scuff sand, and fast, touch-dry in 30 minutes and sandable in an hour at 68°F and 40% humidity. Lighter-bodied than 932, it lays flat with a silky feel and is easy to rub out between coats. About 38% solids. Meets or exceeds KCMA standards for heat and humidity, cold check, chemical resistance and film swell.

Where it fits. Painted furniture, shelving, trim and cabinet interiors. On raw or stained wood, prime with 917B first.

Mixing. 1K straight from the can, or 2K with 5% NCW-80 by volume for a harder, more washable film, which gives 2 to 3 hours of pot life.

Application. Apply at 4 wet mils with surface, product and air above 54°F.

• Airless: 308 or 408 fine-finish tip at 1,700 to 2,200 psi
• HVLP: 4- or 5-stage turbine minimum, 1.8 or 2.0 needle, reduce 2 to 5% with warm water if needed

Interior use. Low VOC, zero emissions, water clean-up. Sheens 5 through 50 in 4 KG. White base, tintable.
