White Exterior For Metal, Wood, & Plastic

Novalk 892 white is the catalyzed exterior finish: a high-solids 2K white topcoat (about 43% solids) with UV blockers, built for the surfaces that take the most weather and the most handling. It bonds to wood, metal and plastic with the right prep, and cures to a hard, anti-scratch, scrubbable white with excellent coverage and vertical hang.

Where it fits. Painted exterior doors and entry systems, outdoor furniture, railings, shutters, and metal or composite parts. Over 861B white primer on bare or tannin-prone wood.

Mixing. 892 must be catalyzed; there is no 1K option. Add 15% hardener by volume:

• NCW-80: about 3 hours of pot life
• NCW-105 long pot life: about 4 hours

Application. Surface, product and air above 54°F. Recoat within 3 hours if a second coat is needed.

• Airless: 310 or 410 fine-finish tip at 1,700 to 2,200 psi
• HVLP: 4- or 5-stage turbine minimum, 1.8, 2.0 or 2.5 needle, reduce 10 to 20% with warm water if needed

Exterior use. Low VOC, zero emissions, water clean-up. Sheens 15 and 30 in 4 KG. Meets or exceeds KCMA standards for heat and humidity, cold check, chemical resistance and film swell. White base, tintable.
