Clear Thixo Exterior Topcoat

Novalk 885 is the exterior clear: a 1K thixotropic topcoat with strong outdoor durability and light stability that self-seals in two or three coats. The thixotropic body is what makes it work outdoors; it holds a heavy wet film on a vertical door or a fence board without running, and that film thickness is where the weather resistance comes from. About 37% solids. Ready to apply from the can.

Where it fits. Exterior doors, garage doors, shutters, outdoor furniture, siding and trim in a clear or stained-and-clear finish. Over bare wood, the 855 impregnating agent underneath adds penetration and color; on sound wood 885 stands alone as its own sealer.

Application. Two to three coats at 9 to 11 wet mils each. Thin up to 5% with warm water or 1034 if the gun needs it. Sprays airless, air-assisted or HVLP. Meets or exceeds KCMA standards.

Exterior use. Water clean-up. Sheens 15, 30 and 50 in 4 KG.
