About this product
NCW-105 is the long-pot-life hardener for the Novalk water-based line. Same job as NCW-80, the standard hardener we pack in the Cabinet Starter Kit, crosslinking topcoats to a harder, more washable film and giving primers extra adhesion and blocking, with an hour or more of extra working time. That matters for big batches, hot shops, and anyone mixing once for a full run of doors.
Ratios by volume.
- 5%: 917B primer, 921, 932, 934 and 919 topcoats
- 10%: 951 isolator
- 15%: 982 anti-scratch and 892 exterior topcoats
Pot life runs from roughly 2 hours (951) to 4.5 hours or more (917B). Add the hardener slowly while mixing at low speed, and mix only what you can spray inside the window.
Contains isocyanates. Industrial use only: read the safety data sheet and wear the protective equipment it calls for, including an air-supplied respirator where required. 1 KG.
