Water Based Binder For Wiping & Spray Stain

NADW06 is the stain you haven't mixed yet. A clear water-based binder, or vehicle, that turns Novalk NPW concentrated pigments into a finished wiping or spray stain. The binder controls how the pigment lays down: how long it stays open for wiping, how evenly it sits in the grain, and how well it locks to the wood so the sealer over it doesn't lift the color. Low odor, about 105 g/L VOC.

Where it fits. Custom stain colors on raw interior wood under any Novalk water-based sealer or self-sealing topcoat. One binder, any NPW color, wipe-on or spray-on from the same can.

Mixing. Add NPW pigment concentrate to the binder to the strength you want, stirring it in fully; make a drawdown on scrap of the same species before committing to the run. Contact us for the data sheet with recommended pigment loading.

Application. Wipe on and wipe off with the grain, or spray in a light even pass. Let it flash fully before sealing.

Interior use. Water clean-up. 5 KG.
